Still have questions?

Here are the answers to the questions we hear most from boat owners.

How often should I have my hull cleaned?

For most boats in the San Francisco Bay, we recommend cleaning every 8 weeks to maintain performance, protect bottom paint, and reduce marine growth. Some boats benefit from a 6-week schedule depending on usage and location.

Do I need to be at the marina?

No. As long as we have access to your boat, we can complete the service and send you an invoice afterward.

Do you replace zinc anodes?

Yes. We inspect your anodes during every visit and can replace them if needed. We carry many of the most common sizes and can source specialty anodes when required.

What areas do you serve?

We serve marinas throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including Sausalito, Richmond, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Alameda, San Francisco, San Rafael, and surrounding areas.

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards, ACH, checks, and other electronic payment methods. Most recurring customers keep a card securely on file for convenient billing.

How long does a hull cleaning take?

Most cleanings take between 45 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the size of the boat and the amount of marine growth.

What if my boat hasn't been cleaned in a long time?

No problem. We regularly clean boats with heavy marine growth. The first cleaning may require additional time and may include an extra charge depending on the condition of the hull.
